Therapy for your distinct lifestyle.
About me
Connie Soave (she/her/hers)
Sometimes, we realize that the inspiration for our life’s work comes through ordinary moments and extraordinary people we meet along the way. My great-aunt Teresa committed herself to social work with compassion and determination to help others thrive. Her respectful, dynamic approach left an indelible impression upon my worldview that led me to become a therapist.
What began with earning my BA in sociology evolved into a twenty-year career as a human resources director, specifically within the healthcare legal sector. The invaluable corporate experience of mergers and acquisitions eventually clarified the foundation of my interest, purpose, and where I could offer meaningful support to individuals.
Yearning for more heart-centered work, I returned to expand my studies in social and behavioral sciences and obtained my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I’m deeply committed to this fulfilling chapter and grateful for all the roles throughout my life that have prepared me for my work as a therapist.
At home, my family, friends, and pets ground my days and my evolution in ever-changing ways. I love a good mystery series binge, all genres of books, music, dancing, walking and yoga.
As a therapist
Your insight about your life is a vital element that guides my understanding on how to best support your therapeutic needs. Curiosity, open-mindedness, and a tad of humor throughout, are integral parts of my life philosophy that have strengthened my foundation through personal struggles and become the cornerstone of my therapeutic approach.
As your therapist and supportive guide, we’ll work together to reaveal a deeper appreciation of who you are and what matters to you. We will explore what healing and growth mean to you and develop a unique blueprint to support your goals.
I look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to my practice.
